Port of Halifax – Halifax & Peggy’s Cove – 7 hours
Join your kilted guide and travel along the Lighthouse Route on to Peggy’s Cove, which has been an artists’ and explorers’ paradise for over 200 years. This village is located on the rugged Atlantic shoreline, standing on solid rock above the crashing surf. The coastline is famous for pirates, shipwrecks, rum-running and sunsets. Choose between a walking tour of the cove with your guide or free time to explore on your own.  Either way, you will see the weatherworn fishing shacks, colourful buoys and lobster traps still used by local fishermen, and awe-inspiring rock formations that have been carved out by the glaciers of the last Ice Age.  Your visit to the cove is complemented by lunch overlooking one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world.  Return to Halifax for an informative and fun-filled ride through the streets of our city which will immerse you in our history and culture. Learn about Halifax's war years and of the exploits and heroism of the citizens who lived through the devastating Halifax Explosion. See the Historic Properties, the Spring Garden Road area, Old Town Clock, St. Paul's Church, Grand Parade, the busy port, the state of the art Halifax Central Library, and much more.  Highlights will include a stroll through the Victorian Public Gardens and a visit to Fairview Lawn Cemetery to learn about the local connections to the Titanic Disaster. From tales of disaster and triumph to remarkable stories of everyday life, discover the people and places that have made Halifax one of the most unique and captivating cities in North America!

Port of Sydney – Sydney & the Cabot Trail – 7 hours
Join your local guide and head out to experience one of the most stunningly picturesque drives in North America: the Cabot Trail. A brief overview of Sydney will be given before you travel up the rocky splendor of Cape Breton Island’s northern shore to take in the unforgettable vistas of a rugged shoreline where the mountains meet the sea. Hugging the coast with breathtaking views is Cape Smokey Mountain where you will want to have your camera on hand to capture the one of a kind landscape.  Lunch will be at the historic Keltic Lodge.  Be on the look-out for moose and other wildlife as you make your way back down the trail and back to you ship with fond memories of Cape Breton.

Port of Saint John – Saint John & St. Martin’s – 7 hours
Meet your local guide and travel to lovely St. Martin’s on the coast of the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world. En route, a picture stop will be made so that you can capture a shot of a lighthouse and two covered bridges. On arrival, choose between a walking tour with your local guide or explore on your own. Either way, the tide will be out so you will have the opportunity to visit the famous sea caves and walk on the ocean floor before returning to Saint John where you will enjoy lunch overlooking Reversing Falls where the might Bay of Fundy tides cause the Saint John River to reverse direction and flow upstream twice daily.  This afternoon, discover nearly 400 hundred years of history in Canada’s oldest incorporated city and experience a delightful blend of the past and present. Travel past prominent landmarks and historic buildings such as the Imperial Theatre and the Loyalist House. Learn of many fascinating personalities and events that have shaped Saint John and view Martello Tower, the Old City Market and King Street, the shortest, steepest street in Canada.

Port of Charlottetown – Charlottetown & North Shore – 7 hours
Join your local guide and depart on an adventure to experience the very best of Prince Edward Island – Canada’s smallest province. Start your day with an overview of Charlottetown to discover the history and charm of Canada’s Birthplace. Drive past Province House, Beaconsfield, Historic Great George Street, Charlottetown Driving Park, The Lieutenant Governor’s House, Victoria Park, University of Prince Edward Island, residential areas, and much more before continuing on to the scenic North Shore and Prince Edward Island National Park. View rolling farmlands, stunning seascapes, tiny villages and bustling harbours. Photo stops will be made at quaint little fishing villages, lighthouses and the world class Cavendish Beach. Tour Green Gables House: this old farm site inspired L.M. Montgomery’s first novel, Anne of Green Gables published in 1908. Your day is complemented by a visit to the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company where you will enjoy lunch. The company uses locally grown fruit to make delicious jams and marmalades. Return to Charlottetown for some free time to shop and explore before returning to your ship.

Also ask us about driver/guided tours for parties of 1-6 people; rates for driver/guide tours start at $120 + 15% HST per hours with a 4 hour minimum.

Please note that Halifax has a very busy cruise and convention season.  Do not delay in booking tours or transportation as many dates sell out well in advance.  We are always happy to put services on hold with no commitment on your part until 30 days prior.
